“We’re bombing now again in Syria without congressional approval and we’re sending more convoys in there without congressional approval. It’s a messy war, it’s been going on forever, there’s nothing good that’s going to come out of our involvement. People say, well, U.S. lives are at risk. Yeah, because we put them there… We put them in a civil war that’s largely over but can continue if we keep you know putting troops into there.”
